Accompany Health is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to help transform healthcare through AI.
The role involves collaborating with various teams, including Product, Sales, and Clinical Operations, to improve healthcare services.
Responsibilities include leading the technical design and implementation of Machine Learning infrastructure and products.
The engineer will build and maintain robust data infrastructure and AI pipeline architecture.
The position requires championing responsible AI development and ensuring fairness and equity in AI models.
The engineer will partner with cross-functional teams to address data-related technical issues and enhance efficiency.
The role also involves developing safeguards for AI models to ensure high-quality care for all patients.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on machine learning.
A graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required.
The ideal candidate should be entrepreneurial, mission-driven, and able to present ideas clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a remote collaborative environment are essential.
Hands-on expertise in developing and implementing modern LLM models and transformers is required.
Experience in deploying ML models in a production environment is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to create efficient and maintainable code for machine learning applications, is needed.
Candidates should have experience in developing and maintaining ML pipelines for model training and deployment.
Knowledge of best practices for model versioning, experimentation, and reproducibility is important.
Continuous improvement of ML infrastructure for stability, scalability, observability, and security is expected.
Experience in healthcare is valuable but not mandatory.
