Description:

G-P is seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer to lead a team focused on building high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
The role requires extensive hands-on experience in mobile development, particularly in React Native, and a solid command of the mobile development lifecycle, including deployment and testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities include leading a team of mobile developers, designing and implementing mobile application architectures, and ensuring code quality and maintainability.
The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, write and maintain technical documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement in team processes and tools.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Expertise in mobile application development using React Native and a solid understanding of the mobile application lifecycle is essential.
Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript is necessary to ensure code reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
Proven experience with mobile architecture and deploying apps for both iOS and Android platforms is required.
Knowledge of integrating mobile applications with backend services and third-party APIs is necessary.
Proficiency with AWS, especially in relation to mobile backend support, is required.
A track record of building, deploying, and maintaining high-quality, production-grade mobile applications is essential.
Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices and tools related to mobile deployment and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset are necessary.
Experience collaborating with UX/UI design teams to ensure technical feasibility and an optimal user experience is required.
Expertise with mobile testing frameworks and automated testing tools is necessary.
Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is required.
