Remote Principal Network Engineer - Juniper & F5

Description:

• Constant Contact is seeking a Principal Network Engineer (Juniper and security-focused) to join the Network Engineering team.
• The role involves designing and deploying new infrastructure, recommending upgrades, and solving complex issues on existing infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include participating in life cycle projects of network gear, automating day-to-day tasks of network provisioning, and working on DDOS mitigations and security initiatives.
• The position requires working on PCI compliance tasks, being part of a 24x7 network engineering team, and participating in on-call rotations.
• The engineer will work on deploying and maintaining Data Center or Corporate Office network infrastructure, troubleshoot and fix complex issues, and generate and update documentation.
• The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in network engineering in large-scale enterprise and data center environments (Juniper focused).
• Automation experience with tools like Ansible, extensive experience with security appliances (Palo Alto, F5, Juniper products), and understanding of load balancing technologies, DNS, and SAAS Infrastructure are required.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, wireless technologies for corporate offices, and solid working experience with routing and switching technologies is necessary.
• Vendor certification in routing and switching, firewalls, wireless is a plus, along with Linux skills to deploy monitoring tools.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering in large-scale enterprise and data center environments (Juniper focused)
• Automation experience with tools like Ansible
• Extensive experience with configuration of security appliances (Palo Alto, F5, Juniper products)
• Understanding of load balancing technologies, DNS, SAAS Infrastructure
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and wireless technologies for corporate offices
• Solid working experience with routing and switching technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS (L2 & L3 VPN), RSVP, LDP, Switching technologies (VLAN/trunking, STP, RSTP, VSTP)
• Vendor Certification in routing and switching, firewalls, wireless is a plus (JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, etc.)
• Linux skills to deploy monitoring tools. Perl or python experience is a plus
