Description:
The Principal Sales Engineer at Zscaler is a senior individual contributor who supports the business at a regional or area level with deep technical knowledge and industry expertise.
Responsibilities include being involved in complex and high impact sales opportunities as a technical and industry expert, assisting the partner engineering team with enablement, leading internal global projects, conducting technical screenings for potential new hires, and traveling 25%.
The role requires experience with security, networking, authentication, and Internet fundamentals, along with 12+ years of technical pre-sales experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
Preferred qualifications include industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA (or Higher), CISSP, CCSP, AWS/AZURE Specialty, and experience working with Federal accounts.
Requirements:
Deep technical understanding of security and networking technologies.
Ability to understand and interpret organizational dynamics to engage with and positively influence main technology and enterprise architecture decision makers.
12+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
Experience with security, networking, authentication, and Internet fundamentals.
Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA (or Higher), CISSP, CCSP, AWS/AZURE Specialty.
Experience working with Federal accounts.

Base salary range $162,750β$232,500 USD.
