Description:

Access Softek is looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer who is passionate about building services for a first-class award-winning online banking solution using C# .NET Core, Typescript, ReactJS, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
The role involves handling complex tasks and working closely with team members and external stakeholders to identify optimal business solutions.
You will lead feature development and delivery processes, analyze and propose solutions, and coordinate across teams to resolve evolving problems.
The position requires being a role model in writing clean code following best practices.
This opportunity allows candidates to learn about FinTech, banking, and cloud architecture (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) while collaborating with implementation and product teams and receiving frequent feedback from over 400 financial institutions.
Approximate working hours are from 2am to 10am PDT/PST timezone, with a suitable insignificant offset in both directions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of development experience in web applications and/or backend APIs using C#.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles and experience applying classic design and structure patterns (GoF) is required.
Experience with micro-services in projects is necessary.
Strong problem-solving abilities and system thinking are essential.
Candidates should have strong experience with data modeling, MS SQL Server, and data access layer optimizations.
Experience in writing unit and integration tests using NUnit, xUnit frameworks, and FluentAssertions, Moq libraries is required.
Expertise with DevOps practices and tools, along with practical experience with Git, is necessary.
Tech lead experience with complex projects, including expertise in refactoring legacy codebases, optimizing process flows, and analyzing and implementing architectural decisions, is expected.
Great communication skills and experience in leading technical discussions are essential.
Candidates should be eager to learn and build up new skills.
Intermediate+ English proficiency is required.
