Freed is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their elite team of engineers in a fully remote work environment.
The role involves taking ownership of product features and driving implementation across the backend (TypeScript) and frontend (React/TypeScript) components of the software stack.
Engineers will adapt the latest AI models and techniques to the company's use case, contributing to model training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimizing inference for latency and cost.
The position emphasizes collaboration within autonomous, cross-functional teams that include Product Management and UX Design.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a history of consistent top performance and a desire for a mission-driven work culture.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack Software Engineering is required.
Curiosity for LLM applications and familiarity with using AI for development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor is necessary.
Applicants must be located within the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.
Familiarity with the tech stack, including React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Azure, and SQL, is preferred.
