Remote Principal Software Engineer

Description:

• Array is a financial innovation platform that helps digital brands, financial institutions, and fintechs bring consumer products to market faster.
• The Principal Software Engineer will lead engineering teams to solve challenges, work with business and technology leaders, and report to the CTO or Senior Director of Engineering.
• Responsibilities include providing technical problem-solving, delivering large software systems, partnering with general managers, and being an expert in RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and databases.
• The position requires an advanced degree in computer science or related field, 10 years of software development experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
• Nice to have experience includes familiarity with specific technology stacks like RESTful APIs, Golang, Node.js, Svelte, React, Kubernetes, MS SQL Server, and Terraform.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
• 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong ability and passion for conceptualizing ideas, communicating solutions, and building them.
• Experience in working with product and technical managers, delivering technical presentations, and working with cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with specific technology stack is preferred but not required.
