Description:

JumpCloud is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for their Core Services team, specifically for the Turkey region, with a remote work option.
The role involves tackling complex problems, serving as a technical leader on cross-functional projects, and contributing to the long-term technical vision of the engineering team.
Responsibilities include building new technology initiatives, driving architecture, defining best practices, and ensuring platform quality.
The engineer will work alongside other Principal Engineers and Architects to implement a shared strategy and will assist in mentoring team members on advanced technical issues.
The position requires participation in on-call shifts to respond to alerts during assigned times.
The company operates in a remote-first environment, and candidates must be located in and authorized to work in Turkey.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 15+ years of experience as an engineer leading complex engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of Go or Node is required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of Kubernetes and deep experience with Gateways and Authn/z frameworks.
Experience in a distributed systems environment is necessary.
The ability to work with ambiguity and drive clarity while delivering incremental value is essential.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment is required.
A strong technical foundation in software engineering design principles is necessary.
Experience working with geographically diverse engineering teams in a remote work environment is required.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
