• The Principal Software Engineer will develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Responsibilities include defining requirements with senior management and leading key operational and technical projects.

• The role also includes leading software change and release management to improve the software development process.
• The goal is to ensure software meets high-quality standards and is delivered on time.
• Additional responsibilities include sharing the team’s vision, setting priorities on the product roadmap, and ensuring deadlines and production quality are met.
• The engineer will bring innovative ideas to solve technical challenges and apply best practices to promote innovation in development.
• They will improve work methods and processes to ensure timely delivery and ensure the product is scalable, reliable, and built with high-quality code.
• Troubleshooting and fixing complex software issues effectively and permanently is also a key responsibility.
• The engineer will review code based on functionality, speed, cost, and security requirements.
• Collaboration with engineering, security, and product teams to turn feedback into actionable features is essential.
• The engineer will work with the CISO to integrate security best practices into the architecture and workflows.
• Quick response to problems, documentation of fixes, and tracking of actions taken are required.
• Creating and updating internal and external documentation is part of the role.
• Promoting open communication and knowledge sharing within the team is encouraged.
• Staying informed about crypto and blockchain trends to guide the company’s strategy is necessary.
• Researching and recommending emerging technologies is part of the job.
• Occasionally joining client meetings to explain how the solution compares to competitors is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in fintech or crypto, including blockchain work, is required.
• Noteworthy educational backgrounds are necessary, excluding executive certifications from a year ago.
• Proficiency in Typescript and Rust (or similar languages) is essential.
• A proven track record with developer tools, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and APIs is required.

Benefits:

• The salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 per year under a full-time work contract.
• Equity compensation includes 300-600 stock options (i.e., 0.1-0.2%) vested over 4 years.
• The position is fully remote with optional access to an office, located in the Eastern US.
