The Principal Software Engineer - Deployment Strategist will work within the newly formed AI Solutions Group, focusing on AI development and implementation.
This role involves understanding complex organizational problems and designing innovative solutions using advanced software platforms.
Responsibilities include partnering with clients, developing data-driven workflows, facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ensuring software adoption through training and support.
The engineer will write scalable code, design and implement GraphQL API services, and maintain high-performance business applications.
The position requires leading engagements with Product and Engineering teams, optimizing backend application code, and fostering team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The role demands a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to drive measurable outcomes across various industries.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in complex environments is required.
Proven success in a client-facing role while leading a team within a matrixed framework is essential.
Expertise in programming languages such as Node.js and Golang is necessary.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Professional experience with RDBMSs and NoSQL databases is needed, with a preference for PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
A strong problem-solving mindset and analytical skills are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate a track record of writing maintainable code, including unit tests and design patterns.
Familiarity with technologies such as Jasmine Framework, JavaScript, Jest.js, GraphQL, Apollo GraphQL, AWS, Docker, and GitHub is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is necessary, along with solid knowledge of CS fundamentals.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and a strong desire to work on AI applications are important.

The position offers a competitive salary range from $163,000.00 to $205,000.00, based on skills and experience.
