Description:

  • TXI is seeking a Principal Software Engineer who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
  • The role involves serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, providing mentorship and support.
  • The engineer will lead multiple teams on significant accounts, guiding team leaders executing specific lines of work.
  • Responsibilities include efficiently executing code on projects and providing technical guidance to team members.
  • The engineer will influence technical direction and drive major projects to success while building relationships with clients.
  • Effective communication and empathetic listening are essential for soliciting feedback and ensuring team alignment.
  • The role requires partnering with TXI’s Demand team to understand client needs and scope complex product engagements.
  • The engineer will build lasting relationships with executive-level clients and take responsibility for their work.
  • The tech stack includes Python, Node.js, React, and AWS or GCP infrastructure managed by Terraform and Docker containers in Kubernetes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be highly competent engineers capable of leading multiple teams on significant accounts.
  • A strong technical background is required, with the ability to execute code and provide guidance to team members.
  • Candidates should have experience in shaping organizational strategy and influencing technical direction.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and the ability to guide strategic decisions are essential.
  • Effective communication skills, both professional and empathetic, are necessary for soliciting feedback and aligning teams.
  • Experience in consulting and building influential relationships with executive-level clients is required.
  • A willingness to take responsibility and learn from all team members, regardless of their title, is expected.

Benefits:

  • The salary range for this role is $195,000 - $275,000, with a bi-annual bonus based on company performance.
