Description:

  • Gearset is the leading DevOps platform for Salesforce, allowing users to build and manage various aspects of their Salesforce development from within Gearset.
  • The platform integrates with Salesforce via public APIs and does not develop within the Salesforce environment, requiring close collaboration with domain experts to address unique challenges.
  • The engineering team releases new versions of Gearset multiple times a day, focusing on improving observability and infrastructure tools to quickly identify and resolve issues.

  • Engineers are encouraged to engage directly with customers and partners to ensure the most pressing problems are being solved.
  • The tech stack includes C#, React, TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, and Kubernetes, and you will help define what excellence looks like in this context.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of creating a positive business impact beyond just coding, such as leading a team or driving the rollout of new technology.
  • Previous experience as a full-stack engineer, with direct customer interaction.
  • A strong passion for learning and continuous improvement, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React is preferred.
  • Expertise in an OOP language (e.g., Java, C++) and a modern JS framework (e.g., Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in working on a distributed, cloud-hosted product with rapid release cycles.
  • Experience in an agile development team, delivering incremental improvements and adapting to user needs.

Benefits:

  • The salary for this position ranges from £78k to £90k+, depending on experience.
  • This is a full-time remote opportunity, working Monday to Friday within the UK.
  • A generous personal development budget of up to £1500 per year is provided for courses, conferences, or other professional development resources.
  • Top-end hardware will be supplied to support your work.
  • BUPA health care coverage is included.
  • Life insurance and critical illness cover are part of the benefits package.
  • Employees can access discounted gym memberships and a variety of health and wellness benefits.
  • There is an opportunity to join the Long Term Incentive scheme.
