Description:

JumpCloud is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their team in Hyderabad, India, with a remote work option.
The role involves researching, prototyping, and building Proofs of Concepts for new technology initiatives that JumpCloud is interested in.
The engineer will evaluate, prototype, and showcase forward-looking technology pieces for JumpCloud customers.
As a member of the JC Labs team, the engineer will partner with peers and other teams to build, lead, and inspire new initiatives.
The position requires providing technical leadership and oversight to other teams in areas of expertise.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as an engineer and in leading teams.
Experience with cloud technologies and managed services, such as AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes, is required.

Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential to drive and oversee complex projects across multiple teams from conception to completion.
The ability to work with ambiguity and deliver incremental value throughout the development lifecycle is crucial.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment is expected.
A strong technical foundation in software engineering design principles is required.
Experience working with geographically diverse engineering teams in a remote-first work environment is necessary.
