Thrive Market is seeking a Principal iOS Engineer to set the gold standard for iOS development.
The role involves tackling complex challenges, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring engineers at all levels.
Responsibilities include defining the technical vision for the iOS app, architecting scalable solutions, and collaborating with Product and Design teams to deliver innovative features.
The engineer will optimize app performance and evaluate emerging technologies for integration.
This position is pivotal in shaping the app’s architecture and driving innovation to enhance customer experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 7+ years focused on iOS development for high-traffic, consumer-facing applications.
Extensive experience with Swift, Objective-C, and a deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns is required.
Proven ability to scale iOS applications, optimize performance, and maintain code quality is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration abilities are necessary.
A passion for mentoring and developing engineers is important.
Bonus points for experience in e-commerce or subscription-based platforms, exposure to front-end development, and a strong interest in Thrive Market’s mission.
