• The role is for a driven, full-stack, Principal Software Engineer (iOS) to lead the development of new mobile products on the New Markets team.
• The engineer will focus on creating mobile products for early adopters in a new market.
• Responsibilities include building and launching new products, guiding the team in technology implementation, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product management, owning feature implementation, providing technical guidance, establishing best practices, and leading code reviews.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of full-stack iOS mobile development experience (frontend and backend).
• A total of 12+ years of software development experience is required.
• Experience in building and launching 0-to-1 products from ideation to successful market adoption is essential, ideally with apps currently available on the App Store.
• Candidates should have experience leading and mentoring an engineering team, advocating for best practices, and ensuring high-quality code, security, and performance.
• A BS and/or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
• Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and other related iOS development tools and frameworks is necessary.
• Candidates must be proficient in designing, implementing, and consuming APIs (GraphQL, REST APIs, etc.), integrating with 3rd party systems, and implementing authentication methods.
• A strong ability to identify user needs and business objectives related to app development is required, along with experience in implementing UI design principles and creating compelling user experiences.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary to articulate ideas clearly and help the team move toward goals.
• Candidates should be self-starters with a bias toward action and experience working collaboratively to achieve team goals.
