The role of Principal Software Engineer involves creating cloud software that speeds up the innovation and delivery of critical treatments and medicines globally.
The position requires building scalable software that evolves with new features and capabilities.
The engineer will collaborate with Product Management and Development teams on technical design and problem-solving.
Responsibilities include owning all aspects of implementation for features, from design to development, deployment to production, and support and maintenance.
The role involves breaking down complex problems into potential solutions and mentoring engineers at all levels.
The engineer will define, evangelize, and mentor on best practices and coding standards, and review code from engineers of all levels.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 12+ years of software development experience.
Extensive experience in developing enterprise SaaS cloud applications is required.
A proven track record of building high-volume products at scale is necessary.
Hands-on development experience with current open-source tools and technologies such as Java, Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, AspectJ, Messaging, Solr, and Lucene is essential.
Candidates should possess the drive and flexibility to work hard in a dynamic startup environment.
Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of improving team performance are required.
