The Principal Software Engineer will lead the effort to decompose a large monolithic application into smaller, manageable services.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in software development.
Experience in decomposing monolithic applications into service-oriented architecture is required.
Extensive experience in complex environments focused on decomposing monolithic applications is necessary.
Strong proficiency in software design principles, architecture patterns, and system decomposition strategies is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in testing methodologies, including test automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment, is required.
A deep understanding of observability tools, monitoring systems, and logging frameworks is necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
A proven track record of implementing best practices and driving software modernization initiatives is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and influence technical decisions are required.
A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is necessary.

The standard base pay range for this role is between $175k and $238k annually, with offers typically anchored around the midpoint of $210k.
Total compensation includes equity, medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
