Description:

The Principal Software Engineer will work on perception algorithms and state estimation for online autonomy.
Responsibilities include designing and developing state estimation solutions for autonomous vehicles, defining metrics, collaborating with teams, and mentoring team members.
Requirements:
Candidates must be skilled in modern C++ and Python.
Experience in developing state-of-the-art state estimation solutions for real-time applications in robotics is required, including E/KFs, factor graphs, and optimization.
Candidates should have experience with mapping and calibration solutions.
Familiarity with camera, lidar, and/or radar data in autonomy applications is necessary.
The ability to iterate on complex problems and models, including problem definition, data handling, debugging, evaluation, and deployment, is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter are required.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $250,000, with actual compensation based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
