Remote Principal Software Test Engineer

Description:

• The Principal Software Test Engineer will be responsible for creating and enhancing the software test automation framework, designing test cases, writing test automation code, conducting software product testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance to other software test engineers.
• Responsibilities include developing effective testing strategies and plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of product requirements, promoting best practices in testing, executing functional, integration, and regression test cases, tracking defects and resolutions, investigating production issues, researching new testing technologies, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• 6+ years of experience in multi-tenant SaaS, web, and mobile applications testing.
• Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Postman, and Swagger, as well as testing frameworks such as Cucumber and SpecFlow.
• Expertise in QA testing principles, web application and service architecture, and test automation framework development.
• Strong programming skills in C# or Java, familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, and test automation pipelines.
• Previous experience in eClinical domain, life sciences, or regulated industries is preferred.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 per year.
