Description:
The Solutions Architect plays a critical role in the organization by supporting the sales team, partnerships, and customers through their technical and domain expertise.
This role requires a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices and solid experience within the ecosystem of technologies that power end-to-end online shopping experiences.
The ideal candidate will have strong capabilities and experience in working directly with senior-level customer contacts on both the business and technical sides of an organization.
Responsibilities include working closely with Sales to devise value-based solutions for prospective customers, being a subject matter expert for all elements of the fabric platform, and maintaining a solid understanding of the fabric product strategy and sales pipeline.
The role involves end-to-end ownership of the discovery process during sales cycles, translating customer requirements to internal stakeholders, and defining, documenting, and presenting solution recommendations.
The Solutions Architect will also configure and deliver custom demos and proofs of concept (POCs) in support of sales opportunities, manage technical responses to RFP/RFQ/RFIs, and support product marketing and partnership teams.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience in eCommerce or Order Management and the ability to drive a complex technical sales process.
A blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills is necessary to drive successful outcomes.
A successful record of working collaboratively with both clients and internal teams to define and deliver solutions is essential.
Candidates should excel at customer engagement, eliciting needs, and conveying solutions effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
A track record of contributing to and developing technical sales assets such as demos, POCs, and architecture readouts is important.
Candidates must be self-sufficient with a strong desire to learn and grow within the team and company.
Expertise in working with REST APIs and related tools like Postman is required.
An understanding of front-end web development frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Vue.js is preferred.
Experience in a technical consulting role focusing on eCommerce and Order Management platform transformations is a plus.
