Remote Principal SW Engineer

Description:

• A2MAC1 is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their global technology team.
• The role involves working closely with product owners and solution architects to guide the technical direction of the A2MAC1 Platform development.
• Responsibilities include onboarding and mentoring new developers, overseeing development activities, and documenting technical tasks.
• The position requires supporting the broader technical architecture of the A2MAC1 Platform within Agile Scrum teams.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in web development, including front-end applications and back-end services.
• Knowledge of software engineering processes, technologies (C#, .Net, SQL, NoSQL, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS), and Cloud technologies (Azure) is essential.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD toolsets (Azure DevOps), and functional decomposition of Agile Stories is required.
• The Principal Software Engineer will champion coding standards, support team developers, and ensure access to training, environments, and tools.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a Principal Software Engineer with a background in web development.
• Proficiency in front-end applications, back-end services, API, micro-services, and database development.
• Understanding of software engineering processes, techniques, and technologies (C#, .Net, SQL, NoSQL, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS).
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies, preferably Azure, virtualization, containerization, webservers, micro-services, authentication, managed services.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using IDE, CI/CD toolsets (preferably Azure DevOps).
• Ability to decompose Agile Stories into actionable development tasks, refine technical solutions, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science.
• Excellent communication, team leadership, and motivational skills.
• Creative thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to respond to technical issues and find solutions.
