Description:

Houzz is seeking a world-class Analyst to join the Pro Software Analytics team, focusing on providing data-driven insights to support software initiatives.
The role involves collaborating with leadership, product, analytics, and engineering teams to identify, define, and launch strategic and operational data science initiatives aimed at improving Pro software performance.
Key responsibilities include defining key metrics (KPIs) to guide business decision-making, managing business and product performance, designing product experiments, interpreting results, and conducting root cause analysis.
The Analyst will own the end-to-end execution of projects, work with data infrastructure and product engineering teams to define data collection needs, and provide recommendations for quick product ideation and feature launch decisions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role within a high-growth tech company is required.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, including aggregate functions and various types of joins using Hive or Presto, is essential.
Strong programming skills in Python or R are necessary, along with proficiency in advanced experimental design, testing, and analysis.
Candidates must possess strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for analytics and product development.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn.
Experience working with remote teams across different time zones and familiarity with SaaS solutions, user engagement, and funnel conversion is preferred.
The ability to learn quickly and make decisions in ambiguous situations, experience with statistical modeling, and proficiency in using Tableau for visualization are also desirable.

The position offers an annual starting salary range of $130,000 - $158,000, with actual compensation influenced by various factors including skills and experience.
