Sezzle is a fintech company focused on financially empowering young consumers through its payment platform that offers interest-free installment plans.
The company is seeking a Product Data Analyst to enhance business outcomes through analytics.
The role involves collaborating with business team leaders to formulate monitoring metrics and performance objectives.
Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, generating charts, and developing dashboards.
The analyst will primarily work with the Product team but may also support initiatives across various departments such as Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, or People Operations.
Key responsibilities include understanding business priorities, creating analyses and reporting, visualizing analytics results, identifying new opportunities through data analysis, and monitoring and analyzing reports and dashboards.

Requirements:

A degree in statistics, math, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience working with data, including complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, and machine learning, is necessary.
Expertise in using SQL to extract data and create actionable datasets is essential.
Experience with Python for data processing and analytics is required.
The ability to complete analyses with minimal guidance is necessary.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is required.
Candidates must be comfortable making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment and able to pivot quickly to new priorities.
Attention to detail, multitasking ability, excellent problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and communication skills are essential.
Fluency in English is required.

Competitive compensation for the Product Data Analyst position ranges from $2,100 to $3,350 USD per month, depending on experience.
For the Senior Product Data Analyst position, compensation ranges from $3,100 to $5,000 USD per month.
