Description:

• Sezzle is a fintech company focused on financially empowering young consumers through an interest-free installment payment platform.
• The Product Data Analyst will enhance business outcomes through analytics and collaborate with business team leaders to formulate monitoring metrics and performance objectives.
• Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, generating charts, and developing dashboards.
• The role primarily involves working with the Product team, but may also support initiatives across various departments such as Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, or People Operations.
• Key responsibilities include understanding business priorities, creating analyses and reporting, visualizing analytics results, identifying new opportunities through data analysis, and monitoring and analyzing reports and dashboards.

Requirements:

• A degree in statistics, math, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience working with data, including complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, and machine learning, is necessary.
• Expertise in using SQL to extract data and create actionable datasets is essential.
• Experience with Python for data processing and analytics is required.
• The ability to complete analyses with minimal guidance is necessary.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is required.
• Candidates must be comfortable making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment and able to pivot quickly to new priorities.
• Attention to detail, multitasking ability, excellent problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and communication skills are essential.
• Fluency in English is required.
