Description:

  • As a (Senior) Product Data Analyst at DataCamp, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining world-class client reporting capabilities.
  • You will report to the Director of Analytics and ensure that customers understand the value of the platform by making it easy for them to track user engagement and skill improvement.
  • Your responsibilities will include optimizing the client reporting portal, data connectors (APIs), and internal dashboards in collaboration with product and customer success teams.
  • You will influence changes by promoting data-driven development and decision-making, working closely with software engineers, data scientists, data engineers, product managers, and customer success leaders.
  • You will perform analyses on B2B client usage of reporting tools and services, providing recommendations for improvement to the product management team.
  • You will generate and maintain internal reports and dashboards for the customer success team to identify opportunities for clients.
  • Ensuring high data quality standards by maintaining accuracy and consistency across dashboards and reporting tools will be a key part of your role.
  • You will keep internal documentation, such as data dictionaries, up to date and provide recommendations on metric definitions.
  • Partnering with customer success and learning solutions teams, you will attend meetings to gather requirements, explain data, and present insights to customers.
  • You will also mentor and support team members in analytics best practices.

Requirements:

  • You must have 3+ years of experience in product, client reporting analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a proven track record of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences are required.
  • You should be highly skilled in SQL and have at least 2 years of experience using BI Tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
  • The ability to connect analytics solutions to business outcomes is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary, with the ability to develop rigorous and defensible solutions to complex problems.
  • You should possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
