Description:
- EcoCart, a leading climate technology application for online retailers, is seeking a product engineer to help build products that reduce carbon footprints and promote sustainability.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing best-practice processes to scale the team efficiently, designing product features based on business requirements, and ensuring platform quality and stability.
- The role involves developing testing strategies, collaborating with marketing and sales teams for growth, and working with UX designers to enhance the product.
- Minimum requirements include 3+ years of full-stack development experience in a startup environment, expertise in React, React Native, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and experience with Svelte or similar frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with e-commerce applications like Shopify and a background in climate tech or sustainability.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full stack development experience in a startup environment
- Ability to build processes for team scalability and efficiency
- Ownership mindset with problem-solving skills
- Strong focus on UI/UX and attention to detail
- Proficiency in React, React Native, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and experience with Svelte or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of modern browser technologies and API integrations
- Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration
