Description:

Kota is seeking a Product Engineer, AI & Internal Tooling to enhance productivity through tools, automations, and AI applications.
This role is the first hire on a new team focused on internal enablement, providing a unique opportunity to shape the function from the ground up.
The engineer will work across the stack and the company, building dashboards, tooling applications, internal APIs, low-code workflows, and AI-powered internal agents using frameworks like Langchain and Pydantic.
The ideal candidate is a versatile builder with a product mindset who proactively identifies bottlenecks, prototypes solutions, and delivers quickly.
This position offers high leverage and autonomy, requiring a founder-like mindset and a hacker's approach to shipping.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as a fullstack or generalist engineer, specifically using React & Typescript or Python.
Hands-on experience in building agentic applications with tools like Langchain, LLMs, RAG pipelines, or embedding models is required.
Familiarity with tools such as Retool, Zapier, n8n, and AWS Lambda is essential.
A strong product sense is necessary; candidates should focus on outcomes rather than just code and have a passion for rapid shipping.
A self-directed, "figure it out" mindset is crucial, along with a desire to automate repetitive tasks.
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills are mandatory.
