Description:

  • PostHog is seeking a Product Engineer - Backend(ish) to help increase the number of successful products in the world.
  • The position is fully remote, with a team distributed between GMT-8 and GMT+2 time zones.
  • The interview process consists of three stages over 2-3 weeks: a 30-minute call with the Talent Partner, a 30-minute interview with the CTO plus a 1-hour technical interview with an engineer, and a PostHog SuperDay which is a paid day of work.
  • The role is part of the Data Warehouse team, managed by Eric Duong.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience building data pipelines or products on top of data warehouses.
  • A demonstrated full-stack experience is required.
  • A strong interest in building product analysis tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with SQL is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a clear ability to own features and products from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with lexers and parsers is a nice-to-have.
