Description:

Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in backend development.
Significant experience with Laravel, PHP 8.1+, MySQL, and testing pipelines in a deployed web application is required.
A 'shipping' mentality is essential, with a focus on customer feedback and iterative improvement.
Exceptional written communication skills are necessary due to the remote-first nature of the company.
Candidates should possess an eye for testable, maintainable, and intuitive code while prioritizing customer and business value.
The ability to think through complex systems and non-obvious usage scenarios is important.
High empathy towards customers and teammates is required.
Self-motivation and decision-making skills in uncertain situations are essential.
Experience with query optimization and queue/job-centric backends is a plus.
