Description:
The Analog and Connectivity Business Unit (A&C) is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to lead the development of state-of-the-art Connectivity products.
Responsibilities include developing test plans to ensure datasheet specifications are met, owning qualification plans to comply with JEDEC/AEC quality standards, and assessing product quality through reliability tests.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams during first silicon debug and root cause analysis of field failures.
Other duties include creating and maintaining product BOM, monitoring production data for yield and quality improvements, and using yield tools for analysis.
Key responsibilities include owning the product lifecycle from concept to end of life, defining ATE test and manufacturing plans, and providing real-time customer support for design and quality issues.
The position also involves temperature/voltage/process characterization, new product introduction, yield ownership, and excursion management for suppliers and customers.
Achieving key performance indicators related to NPI execution, product cost, quality performance, and failure analysis cycle times is crucial.
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in product engineering with a strong analog circuit background.
Familiarity with ATE tester platforms like Teradyne J750 and Advantest 93K.
Knowledge of analog and mix-signal circuitry, device physics, test methodology, and DFT.
Experience with lab test equipment and bench characterization is preferred.
Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards, yield management tools, and statistical analysis.
Ability to manage supplier excursions and customer escalations, with knowledge of Semiconductor Failure Analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
Language proficiency in English for daily conversation and Japanese for understanding conversation.
