Description:

The role of a Product Service Engineer is focused on creating customer-facing library/solution packages built on top of the Footprint Platform.
This position collaborates closely with the development, product, and implementation teams to create packages for deploying a customer-facing Footprint Cloud application.
The role heavily influences the development and product development team’s backlogs to ensure successful customer application delivery.
Responsibilities include partnering with teams to evolve and enhance product features, operations, and the platform.
The engineer will work with peer teams to understand the platform and create client-facing applications.
Gaining expertise in the Footprint data model and back-end database (SQL Server) is essential for designing and developing new web functionality and reports.
The engineer will develop client-side applications using Typescript and related technologies.
Periodic reviews of the system will be conducted to ensure client needs are met, with modifications identified as required.
Maintenance of artifacts and assets within DevOps is expected, along with accurate and timely time tracking and entry.
Other related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

An Associate or Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject and/or technical training, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on web development experience and understanding of modern web applications is necessary.
Development experience within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is required.
Proficiency in the .NET framework using C# and OData APIs is essential.
Experience with client-side frameworks/technologies, particularly Typescript, is required.
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server is necessary.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in integration implementations and support is required.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, SSRS, and SSIS, is essential.
Creative problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills are required to design systems that meet client needs.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
