Symmetry Systems is seeking a skilled Product Security Engineer to enhance the security features of their Data+AI Security platform.
The role involves leading the design and implementation of security and automation features.
The engineer will collaborate with security, product, and development teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities include designing features to protect against various threats, particularly those related to AI and machine learning.
The engineer must stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in product security.
Contributions to the development of security-related product requirements and specifications are also expected.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on product security.
Strong software development skills, particularly in languages used in cloud-native applications, are essential.
In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and common security vulnerabilities is necessary.
Experience with cloud security principles and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required.
An understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on product design is important.
Experience in developing and designing automation to remediate cloud issues is highly favorable.
Experience with security in AI/ML systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
The ability to balance security requirements with product functionality and user experience is essential.
