Description:

Mattermost is looking for a Product Security Engineer to ensure the security of their product and services.
The role involves collaborating with a globally distributed team to support various aspects of the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities include supporting application vulnerability management, conducting security reviews, engaging in threat modeling, providing security guidance and training, and improving existing processes.
The engineer will implement additional application security tooling and processes, coordinate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and lead the implementation.

Requirements:

Deep understanding of web application security and secure development practices.
Familiarity with common security libraries, controls, and flaws.
Experience with Threat Modeling applications, static/dynamic analysis, and exploit tools.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Go or JavaScript.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated teamwork skills and resourcefulness.

Competitive salary range of $140,000 - $165,000 per year.
