Description:
Virtuous is seeking a Professional Services Data Engineer to join their team remotely in the USA.
The role involves providing data services such as ETL processes, data cleanup, data analytics, and BI reporting.
Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and understand data structure and relationships.
The position requires managing complex and custom projects, necessitating exceptional time management and organizational skills.
This is a customer-facing role that demands a detail-oriented individual capable of solving complex data issues within budget and deadlines.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including ETL processing, relational database tools, data warehousing, and database architecture.
Expertise in SQL and a data manipulation language, preferably Python, is required.
A comprehensive understanding of the ETL process is essential.
Proven ability to mentor and guide team members in best practices is necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to organize information and manage tasks to support nonprofit customers' business needs.
An interest in becoming an expert in nonprofit fundraising and Virtuous products is expected.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong cognitive ability, and a collaborative approach are required.
Candidates must take ownership of their work and be committed to quality and detail.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Experience with Alteryx and/or dbt is a strong plus, as is experience working with nonprofit software.
