Description:
OP Labs is seeking a passionate and innovative protocol security engineer to lead the Superchain’s incident response efforts.
The role involves building tooling and platforms to detect and respond to security incidents within the Superchain.
Responsibilities include owning and delivering improvements to the Superchain’s incident response tooling and infrastructure, such as the ImmuneFi Bug Bounty and the Superchain’s “Big Red Pause Button”.
The engineer will also be responsible for the detection and response of on-chain incidents, including faulty withdrawals and bridge hacks.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a software or security engineering role.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in protocol and smart contract security is required.
Deep knowledge of Ethereum and the EVM is essential.
A strong grasp of computer science and distributed systems fundamentals is required.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in incident response for a large protocol or a production-critical system.
Candidates must be excellent written communicators, comfortable writing clear and concise documents for team consumption.
Attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to identify issues regardless of size and assist in triaging them.
High agency is required, with the ability to proactively identify and fix issues without needing hand-holding.
