Remote PTAN Software Engineer, Resi

Description:

• Resi Media, LLC, a Pushpay company, is seeking a PTAN Software Engineer Intern Co-Op to join their Engineering organization.
• This position can be performed remotely in specific approved states or from the Allen, TX location.
• The role is part-time and as needed, with a pay rate of $25 per hour.
• The intern will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop and maintain software.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, enhancing, and testing system software based on assigned tasks.
• The intern will perform routine technical work under supervision, applying established techniques and procedures.
• Participation in entry-level debugging and problem-solving is expected.
• The role requires adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication with peers and leadership, both verbally and in writing, is essential.
• The intern will accept and incorporate feedback to improve personal and technical skills.
• Following detailed instructions and adhering to standard practices and policies is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be self-starters with an inquisitive nature and a desire to learn.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• The ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or university, working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering-related field.
• Experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, or Typescript is required.
• Knowledge of technologies including Spring, Jersey, Docker, SQL, REST APIs, React, testNG, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, GKE, EKS, and version control is necessary.
• Familiarity with tools such as IntelliJ, Gradle, Eclipse, Terraform, and Jenkins is expected.
• A working knowledge of Linux, preferably RedHat or CentOS, and Bash is required.
• Familiarity with DASH/HLS streaming, video codecs, ffmpeg, and gStreamer is a plus.
