Description:
The Snr/Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships and growing new business revenue within the video games industry in the UK/Europe.
They will need to be consultative and highly motivated, cultivating long-term relationships with developers and publishers, presenting PTW/1518 services, closing new business, negotiating, and managing client relationships.
The role requires an engaging, personable, enthusiastic, and results-oriented individual with an eye for detail.
Growth will be driven through relationship building and a focus on new clients.
The successful candidate must have a track record of surpassing expectations through cultivating and growing relationships, in-depth knowledge of the video games industry, an understanding of client challenges, and a genuine passion for games.
This is an individual contributor role, and candidates must have knowledge of video games.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in business development (Art and Co-Dev).
Business development experience within the games industry is essential.
An existing network of publisher and developer contacts within the games industry.
Proven track record of exceeding targets through building strong client relationships and/or significant experience of selling services within the games industry.
Significant experience with successful dealmaking in the games industry to meet revenue targets.
Deep knowledge of game production pipelines for the art and development verticals.
Previous experience of selling Art Outsourcing and/or Co-development deals.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to forecast opportunities, must be self-motivated.
An organized individual with a passion for gaming and experience of CRM tools.
The ability to influence and drive results in a complex business environment, including the ability to communicate and influence all levels from senior executives to working groups and all functions.
