Description:

  • The NICE Public Safety & Justice business assists public safety and criminal justice agencies in digitally transforming their management of digital evidence and data.
  • The NICE Evidencentral platform integrates technologies to provide a single view of the truth for public safety and justice agencies.
  • The Public Safety Solution Engineer will lead the technical sales and quoting process, focusing on solution development through customer discussions, education, discovery, and requirements gathering.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical and functional expertise to support the Public Safety sales account executive, executing technical discovery, identifying technical risks, and preparing accurate solution quotations.
  • The role involves providing technical consultancy services, preparing detailed proposals and presentations in response to RFPs, and leading technical discussions with third-party vendors.
  • The engineer will support regional partners with technical design and channel relationships and present and demo Public Safety products and applications.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a technical presales engineer role, ideally in Public Safety.
  • A collaborative approach to sales is essential, including working with multiple internal and external groups.
  • Strong communication skills are required to engage professionally with customers on Technical Solutions and i3 initiatives.
  • The ability to learn quickly and assimilate technical and functional knowledge of NICE product solutions is necessary.
  • A proven technical background in areas such as NENA NG911 i3, IP telephony, Azure cloud, web applications, virtualization, trunk radio, networking, and security is preferred.
  • Technical/networking knowledge in data/infrastructure and voice (Analog, VoIP, and SIP) is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in the design, testing, and/or implementation of leading 9-1-1 infrastructure (telephony, CAD, RMS, or similar) are necessary.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills.
