WordPress VIP is the world’s leading enterprise content management platform, helping large companies create innovative digital experiences with WordPress.
The Solutions Engineer will focus on the US public sector, including government departments and SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets.
This role involves providing expert guidance and support in solution-based selling tailored to public sector clients.
Responsibilities include partnering with Sales to qualify new business opportunities, understanding technical requirements, and identifying customer problems creatively.
The Solutions Engineer will build proofs-of-concept, lead the demo process, and contribute to the RFP/RFI process as a key technical resource.
The role requires recommending integration strategies and enterprise architectures for successful implementation in regulated environments.
The position offers flexible remote work arrangements, prioritizing applicants with deep experience in the North American public sector.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or related position with customer-facing experience in the public sector.
Extensive experience with WordPress, particularly in deploying and managing large-scale content management systems for US Federal and SLED clients, is required.
Demonstrated experience in cloud hosting with a strong understanding of security and compliance considerations relevant to public sector projects is necessary.
Hands-on experience delivering content management systems to the public sector is essential.
Familiarity with the public sector procurement process and relevant regulations, such as FedRAMP compliance, is required.
Outstanding communication skills are necessary, including the ability to engage audiences through presentations, phone conversations, and writing.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 USD, with payment in local currency regardless of location.
