Description:
This position is ideal for Python developers who have a strong passion for music.
Candidates can be based in Barcelona or anywhere in Spain or Italy, with the flexibility of remote work and occasional in-person meetings.

The successful candidate will join the Rights & Royalties team, which focuses on centralizing services for processing and distributing music royalties globally.
The role involves working with a mix of data pipelines and back-end applications.
Previous experience in the music industry is a plus, and a strong belief that music can save the world is essential.
The tech stack includes Python3 (mainly Django), Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD, Docker for application deployment, and data storage solutions like Postgres, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch, with AWS for infrastructure.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Python, with consideration for different levels of seniority.
Strong knowledge of Docker, Postgres, and MongoDB is required.
Experience in designing distributed systems, queues, and caches is necessary.
Candidates should have experience writing asynchronous code in Python.
A strong understanding of UNIX is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; Spanish is a plus.
Candidates should be interested in understanding the music industry through data.
The ability to mentor and help less experienced colleagues grow is important.
