10Pearls is an award-winning digital development company focused on product design, development, and technology acceleration.
The position is fully remote and available only in Peru, Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines using AWS services such as SQS, S3, and Lambda.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of data modeling and the ability to learn and navigate data structures quickly.
Experience with idempotent processing to ensure reliable and consistent data flow is essential.
Familiarity with AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code is considered a plus.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, optimizing pipeline performance, implementing error handling, and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Python with experience in data processing and automation is required.
Hands-on experience with AWS services like SQS, S3, and Lambda is necessary, along with an understanding of their roles in data pipelines.
A strong understanding of idempotence and its importance in distributed systems is essential.
The ability to quickly learn and internalize a complex data model is required.
Experience working with both structured and unstructured data storage is necessary.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing is important.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are required.
Nice to have: Experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning, knowledge of additional AWS services like Pinpoint, Glue, or Kinesis, prior experience in a high-volume data processing environment, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
