Remote Python Developer

Description:

• We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team at SynMax.
• As a Python Developer, you will contribute to developing solutions for industry disrupting analytics software.
• You will need to be highly motivated and adaptable to changing needs as our company grows.
• Responsibilities include working with a team of analysts and developers to create an analytics software platform.
• You will automate data source API information retrieval and integrate data from multiple sources into analytics pipelines and relational databases.
• You will deploy and maintain a customer-facing API and documentation.
• Writing automated web data scrapers will be part of your duties.
• You will clean, process, and integrate data into data stores.
• Providing programming support for devops and MLops projects, data science, and engineering staff is expected.
• You will test, debug, and deploy code into cloud microservices.
• Refactoring code bases to comply with standards, profiling, and optimizing code will be required.
• You will implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation in a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to data processing and cloud computing is essential.

Requirements:

• A BS degree in a STEM field is required.
• You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Python programming role.
• A broad understanding of the Python programming language and web scraping methods is necessary.
• You should have the ability to analyze and process dirty real-world data sources into usable information.
• The ability to build Google Cloud Platform highly scalable data processing pipelines for volatile live data streams is required.
• Knowledge of geospatial data processing tools, Python packages, and spatial databases is desirable.
• Experience with multiprocessing, multithreading, query optimization, and Cython is also desirable.
• You must be able to work effectively in a team environment with remotely located staff in different time zones, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills.
