Description:

• Zyte is seeking Software Engineers to join the Delivery team to work on web crawler development with Scrapy, their flagship open-source project.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Scrapy web crawlers, leveraging the Zyte platform for distributed information extraction, and resolving performance issues with distributed crawling at scale.
• The role involves identifying and fixing problems with open-source projects, including Scrapy.
• The position offers the opportunity to work on significant projects within the Zyte platform and Delivery offerings.

Requirements:

• Applicants should have at least 3 years of software development experience in Python.
• Solid knowledge of Python, Linux/UNIX, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, and Networking is required.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English are essential.
• Full-time availability is a must.
• Bonus points for experience with Scrapy, data crawling, extraction, and processing tools, and proficiency in English.
