Remote Python Engineer

Description:

• PolyAI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their tech team in Serbia and work remotely.
• The engineer will be responsible for developing a no-code platform to enable non-technical staff to configure complex dialogue systems and create new voice experiences.
• The role involves both frontend and backend engineering, with a focus on backend development.
• The engineer will contribute to implementing a multi-tenant infrastructure and play a significant role in software development, including writing code, tests, and participating in design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaboration with other full stack engineers to enhance code quality and promote a unified development environment is essential.
• The position requires experience in Python, with knowledge of Go being a bonus, proficiency in React (Next.js is advantageous) and JavaScript (preferably Typescript), familiarity with Git and code versioning platforms, experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and exposure to Agile processes.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning, enjoy technical challenges, possess a background or interest in building low-code platforms, and demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written English.

Requirements:

• Experience in Python, with knowledge of Go as a plus.
• Proficiency in React, with Next.js experience being beneficial, and expertise in JavaScript, preferably Typescript.
• Familiarity with Git and code versioning platforms.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to Agile processes like scrum, kanban, sprints, etc.
• Passion for learning and trying new things.
• Background or interest in building low-code platforms.
• Enjoyment of technical challenges and a desire to contribute to solutions.
• Working proficiency in verbal and written English.
