Description:

Azumo is seeking a highly motivated Python Fullstack Engineer to develop and enhance high performing and scalable software infrastructures in AI, NLP, and data-intensive software environments.
The position is remote but only open to candidates based in Latin America, as most of the engineering team is located there.
The role involves collaborating with a growing team and bright engineering minds, focusing on designing and developing scalable, high performant backend infrastructure using Python, React, and frameworks such as Django, Flask, Eve, and FastAPI.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing server features and robust APIs, integrating existing applications with third-party systems, and evaluating multiple approaches and technologies to solve problems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related degree, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with backend development using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, Eve, or FastAPI is required.
Deep expertise with Linux and hosted cloud environments like Heroku, AWS, or App Engine is essential.
Practical experience with open source technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, is necessary.
Experience integrating solutions with third-party APIs (RESTful, OAuth, JSON) is required.
Candidates should be self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving.
Preferred qualifications include a love for coding, a willingness to be agile, and a hacker spirit within a collaborative team.

The Python Engineer position is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
