Description:
Ascend Analytics is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join their team in Boulder, Colorado, or work remotely within the U.S.

Requirements:
BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Information Science, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, or Power Systems.
1+ years of experience as a back-end software engineer.
Proficiency in Python, Ruby, .NET, Java, C++, C#, Kotlin, Rust, or Javascript with object-oriented design.
Familiarity with data processing in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Sympy, Scikit-Learn), full-stack applications, and RESTful web services.
Exposure to cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker), data science, referential databases, and wholesale electricity markets.
Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, work ethic, and experience with code review and development processes.
