Description:

The Python Tech Lead will partner with stakeholders to understand application needs and contribute to architectural discussions, offering informed suggestions and negotiating solutions.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure primarily using GCP with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments, and automating pipeline deployments and infrastructure setups.
The role also involves optimizing application deployments for Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, and robustness, as well as providing in-depth technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
The candidate will contribute to estimation and planning for projects and develop and prototype new tools and practices as part of the architecture offerings.
The position requires embracing and thriving in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and a degree of uncertainty.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 7+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems.
Excellent communication skills are required, with a minimum of C1 level English.
The individual should have demonstrated ability to lead a technical team.
Familiarity with AI/ML is preferred.
Proven ability to develop cloud-based solutions using best security practices, with a strong focus on DevOps using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), GCP, and AWS is necessary.
Strong backend development skills, particularly with Python (FastAPI), are essential.
Proficiency in API backend development is required.
Knowledge of message queues such as SQS and SNS is necessary.
Database design skills, particularly with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AWS RDS, are required.
The candidate must be able to configure CI/CD pipelines for application deployments in cloud environments like CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker is also required.
