Description:

AffiniPay, a leading fintech company, is seeking a Python Tech Lead - Staff Software Engineer to assist in building and scaling their CasePeer software, which caters to personal injury legal practice management.
The Tech Lead will be responsible for making technical decisions, guiding the team in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
They will design and implement scalable applications in a MVC (Django) environment, utilizing modern technologies like Kubernetes.
Collaboration with Product, mentoring software engineers, and supporting software deployments are key responsibilities.
The Tech Lead will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, drive technology initiatives, and stay updated on industry trends to ensure application performance and sustainability.
The role involves leading team meetings, driving technology initiatives, and providing technical expertise to the broader engineering group.

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science or related field is required.
7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and debugging large-scale solutions in cloud-based environments.
Experience in building and deploying production-grade web applications at scale.
Familiarity with LEAN product development and Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
Proficiency in Python, Django Framework, SQL, and databases such as Postgres or MySql.
Strong understanding of SOLID design principles, design patterns, and teamwork skills.
