Description:

  • 3Pillar is seeking a Python Technical Lead to join a team focused on innovative software solutions that challenge conventional norms.
  • The role involves steering projects that redefine urban living, establish new media channels, and drive healthcare innovation.
  • The position requires guiding the technical direction and implementation by the team throughout all stages from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Responsibilities include evaluating trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to ensure client success.
  • The lead will create and manage the team's technical documentation and repository practices, including tasks like creating branches and pull requests.
  • Collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams is essential to provide oversight of architecture and dependencies influencing product strategy.
  • The role includes contributing to code reviews, documentation, and addressing complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • The lead will mentor Senior Engineers and others through Communities of Practice or project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of web development experience is required, with proficiency in Python and Python frameworks, particularly Django.
  • Candidates must have experience with RDBMSs, SQL, AWS, and Docker.
  • A working knowledge of frontend development technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is necessary.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect protocols is required.
  • High proficiency in English is essential for interaction with a globally-based development team.
  • Experience leading teams in Agile software development methodologies is necessary.
  • Candidates should demonstrate experience in adapting high-level architecture to project and client needs.
  • The ability to verify and validate architecture implementations and influence overall architecture is required.
  • Expertise in object-oriented programming, particularly in Python, is essential.
  • High-level design proficiency following UML, C4, or ArchiMate is required.
  • Experience in creating and implementing scalable, secure, and performant enterprise-level systems is necessary.
  • Demonstrated initiative in mentoring engineers and decision-makers is required.
  • Very good knowledge of architectural styles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP is essential.
