Description:
SwissBorg is seeking a Quantitative Finance & Data Science Intern to join their team in various locations including Porto, Lisbon, Krakow, Ljubljana, Barcelona, and Bratislava.
The intern will be involved in data analysis and reporting, focusing on user behavior and investment patterns to generate actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities include conducting exploratory analysis to assess user investment strategies and optimize performance insights.
The intern will collaborate with the Investment team to build and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking investment opportunities.
Evaluating product performance, extracting insights, and communicating findings to stakeholders will also be part of the role.
The position requires collaboration with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to ensure accurate, consistent, and scalable data solutions.
Additional tasks include developing trading signals, designing and reviewing market-making algorithms, conducting sustainable performance assessments, and analyzing on-chain data.
The intern will also build visualization and reporting tools, model DeFi strategies, and utilize the latest AI algorithms to manage risk and make client recommendations.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently pursuing or holding a BA in a technical or business discipline such as Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as numpy, pandas, and matplotlib, is required.
Experience with SQL for querying and managing datasets is necessary.
The ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
Experience in creating dashboards and reports with clear, concise communication is expected.
Candidates should be proactive, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are important for this role.
