Description:

  • SwissBorg is seeking a Quantitative Finance & Data Science Intern to join their team in various locations including Porto, Lisbon, Krakow, Ljubljana, Barcelona, and Bratislava.
  • The intern will be involved in data analysis and reporting, focusing on user behavior and investment patterns to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Responsibilities include conducting exploratory analysis to assess user investment strategies and optimize performance insights.
  • The intern will collaborate with the Investment team to build and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking investment opportunities.
  • Evaluating product performance, extracting insights, and communicating findings to stakeholders will also be part of the role.
  • The position requires collaboration with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to ensure accurate, consistent, and scalable data solutions.
  • Additional tasks include developing trading signals, designing and reviewing market-making algorithms, conducting sustainable performance assessments, and analyzing on-chain data.
  • The intern will also build visualization and reporting tools, model DeFi strategies, and utilize the latest AI algorithms to manage risk and make client recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing or holding a BA in a technical or business discipline such as Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as numpy, pandas, and matplotlib, is required.
  • Experience with SQL for querying and managing datasets is necessary.
  • The ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience in creating dashboards and reports with clear, concise communication is expected.
  • Candidates should be proactive, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are important for this role.
